I Just put the head cover back on my bike, and I forgot to put the wire mesh that goes into the hole near the breather hose...does this matter or should I take the cover off and put it back in? Also, I can't get my bike to start now...All I hear is one click when I hit the starter, I hooked the starter up to a battery to test it and it spins, but then I noticed smoke comming from the starter solenoid under the seat. I also checked the plug, and I don't think it's making a spark. Could it be the coil or ignitor unit? I am not good at all with electrical systems, any help would be appreiciated.
